Winter Birds – Black-Capped Chickadee

One of my favorite birds is the Black-Capped Chickadee. I love the agility and quick reflexes of this tiny bird. they are very entertaining to watch and are very acrobatic in the air. I also love their song… it is beautiful.

Well, anyways, they are a lot of fun to watch, and we have quite a few of them. But since they are really quick and tiny,  it is sometime hard to get pictures of them. Nonetheless I have been taking pictures and saving them and here are a few:

This one is one of my favorites:

My favorite bird song is the fee-bee mating call of the male Black Capped Chickadee. It doesn’t seem like spring until I hear that song. My favorite bird to just see is the eastern bluebird, which I’ve only seen once in my life. They’re making a comeback in other areas, so maybe they’ll do the same here.Nice shots!

I love these sweet little birds, they’re one of my favorites, as well.
